About this Website
Why I decided to build this page?
Growing up my mother always taught me that learning is a lifestyle; over the years, I've learned that beyond attending lectures or visiting museums, one can also take an even more proactive approach by seeking out knowledge, synthesizing information, and then applying this knowledge and information to one's own life. This page encompasses information that I have found helpful in life.
As a black person, I find that a lot of information is hidden from us, distorted, and misconstrued by the white supremacy framework. Schools both public and private do not provide a complete history of Black Americans or resources to help us cope with racism. Over the past couple of years, I have stumbled across several different resources, videos, etc. Here I share such resources and will continue to update this site.
Who is this website for?
This website is for black people of all ages , throughout the African diaspora, who are interested in learning more.
My Vision ...
is to provide a resource for black people to learn more about racism, history, and self care/ stress management techniques.
